Sign In

The workspace sign-in screen where users authenticate with a username or email and password, including one-click demo accounts in the demo workspace.

Sign In is the authenticated entry point to a workspace. In the demo it also offers pre-built accounts so evaluators can explore different permission levels without setup.

Quick summary

Put it into practice

  1. Enter your username or email and your password.

    InteractionsSign In form: fill the 'Username or Email' and 'Password' fields.

  2. Submit to sign in.

    InteractionsSign In form: click 'Sign In'.

  3. In the demo, skip typing credentials by using a one-click account to enter as that role.

    InteractionsDEMO ACCOUNTS section: click 'Sign in as Owner' or 'Sign in as Timesheet'.

  4. If you do not have a workspace yet, start one from the sign-in footer.

What to review

Header

Shows the workspace name (or 'MarginPlan') with the subtitle 'Sign in to continue'.

Username or Email field

A text field (autofocused) that accepts either the account username or its email address.

Password field

The password input; both fields are required to sign in.

Sign In button

The full-width primary button that submits the credentials.

Demo accounts

In the demo workspace only, a 'DEMO ACCOUNTS' section offers one-click buttons such as 'Sign in as Owner' and 'Sign in as Timesheet', each showing the underlying username.

Create Your Own / Back to home

A 'Create Your Own' link ('Don't have a workspace?') and a '← Back to home' link at the bottom.

Guardrails

  • Both the username/email and password fields are required; a wrong value is rejected without revealing which was wrong.
  • Demo accounts are only present in the demo workspace and should not be expected in a real one.
  • Signing in as a limited role (for example Timesheet) restricts what you can see and do afterward.
  • The role you sign in as determines your permissions across the workspace.
  • Demo quick-login buttons exist to showcase different permission levels.

If it starts drifting

  • If sign-in fails, re-check the username/email and password; the field accepts either identifier.
  • If demo buttons are missing, you are not on the demo workspace — sign in with real credentials.
  • If you have no account, use 'Create Your Own' to make a workspace first.
