Put it into practice

1. Start by choosing the correct tab before making any changes. This prevents creating the wrong record type and keeps catalog structure clean.

   InteractionsService Catalog page: select the target tab (Offerings, Resources, Rates, Groups, Categories, or Expense Categories).

2. Search existing records first to avoid duplicates. Reuse established items unless a genuinely new reusable component is required.

3. Open the appropriate create or edit action and complete required fields with naming consistency. Keep labels clear so estimate builders can find the right item quickly.

4. Save and re-open the record to verify classification and behavior are correct for downstream estimate usage.

   InteractionsAfter save, open the updated row from the selected tab and confirm visible attributes and tags.

5. If this catalog update supports active project pricing, return to estimate workflow and confirm the item now appears and behaves as expected.
