Detailed guide

Integrations

Connected services and sync settings that extend MarginPlan beyond the core app.

Integrations shows the health and configuration state of external connections so the workspace can trust what moves in and out.

Quick summary

  • Start on the list page when you need to know whether the problem is one service or the whole integration layer.

Put it into practice

  1. Start on the integrations list and review overall status before changing any single service.

InteractionsIntegrations page: inspect integration cards and status badges.
  2. Open the specific integration requiring attention and verify its connection state first.

InteractionsIntegrations page: use Configure action on target service card.
    Open workflow: Integration Detail
  3. Apply configuration or reconnect updates only for the affected service and save intentionally.

InteractionsIntegration detail page: edit configuration fields and use save or reconnect controls.
    Open workflow: Integration Detail
  4. Confirm sync health after changes before resuming dependent billing workflows.

InteractionsIntegration status and diagnostics area: check last-run and state indicators.
    Open workflow: Invoice Workflow

What to review

Integration cards

Each card represents one connected service and summarizes whether it is configured, active, or needs attention.

Status badges

Show which integrations are enabled or disabled without opening each detail page.

Configure actions

Open the service-specific setup details for one integration.

Last-updated details

Help you judge whether the displayed configuration is current or stale.

Guardrails

  • Integration state is only meaningful if the connection details saved successfully and the service is reachable.
  • Integration setup is an admin task because it often controls external data access.

If it starts drifting

  • If a sync problem appears isolated, open the individual integration detail instead of changing unrelated services.
